Philip Maddocks is immensely proud of his farming heritage. His genuine love of the land and desire to grow the very best quality produce guides and informs everything they do at PDM. Philip and his team genuinely enjoy and are truly passionate about being one of the UK’s leading specialist lettuce and baby leaf growers. Their passion is reflected in the way they do business, by having close relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues alike. Their wide range of quality lettuce and baby leaf produce is grown on their 2,500 acre family farm in Shropshire. This traditional agricultural area, where Philip’s family has farmed for generations, is renowned for the reliability of its crop yields. As well as having their own farm for growing tasty and fresh produce, they also have a number of highly trusted partners who grow produce specially for them.
Providing our partner schools with quality food ingredients and consumables is not enough – we pride ourselves in providing the services in a sustainable and responsible manner.
